Daffodils Aplenty

Well we are back in Cornwall after Mark’s operation and its a joy to see all the daffodils out in the hedgerows and gardens.

We have snowdrops and primroses as well. We do seem to have missed most of the snow but are still getting frosts and in Truro this morning there was a snow storm whilst we did the shopping…

The catkins are there on the trees but all still tightly furled up at the moment, waiting for that warmer weather.

The birds are still making a lot of use of the bird feeders – all the usuals plus the woodpecker is back on the peanuts twice a day, the dipper is still here and the goldfinches are back with us – only seen the one pair at the moment but will keep an eye out for the others.
