We took a little break yesterday afternoon and in warm, if slightly blustery conditions made our way to the show – its an amazing sight. Acres of land with not just cows, pigs, horses, dogs, rabbits, pigeons and sheep – there is also every car manufactureer you can think of exhibiting, lots of interesting looking agricultural machinery, a sawmill, lots of free food and drink samples from local suppliers, a fairground, an eco area, etc, etc.
You could easily spend all three days there and still not see everything.
We tried some of the new berry Rattler (local cider) but decided we prefer the original version. We caught up with Nicky from the Little Cornish Curry Company who was doing an amazing trade with takeaways and we saw Phil from Boddingtons who supply all our jams and marmalade.
Oh and we have to mention the Dancing Diggers – in the main arena – 8 JCB’S doing on land what the Red Arrows do in the air – we know it sounds daft but they were just brilliant!! – if ever you get a chance to see them do go.
Back to a changeover today – do’t forget though if you are coming next year – make a note to go to the show for all things Cornish.
