We try to source as much of our B&B and self-catering supplies form the following local producers/suppliers. We encourage all our guests to support these suppliers as much as they can.
Cornwall is famed for the quality of it’s local produce and we believe in making the most of it. Our local butcher provides all our meat, fish from St Mawes is delivered to our doorstep and we often head to the farmer’s market in Truro to make the most of artisan producers there. If you are staying in one of our self catering cottages, why not take the stress out of shopping and place an order with The Cornish Food Market? The bulk of their produce is sourced locally – and they can deliver direct to your cottage.
Fresh food is always on the menu here, with freshly caught fish, locally farmed meat and seasonal vegetables decorating our plates. Whether it’s simplicity or a Michelin star you’re looking for, Cornwall’s got both and you can be sure that quality fresh food will always be on the menu.
Of course, a trip to Cornwall wouldn’t be complete without tucking into a pasty or sampling our seafood. Our artisan food producers are some of the best in the world, so make sure you treat your taste buds while you’re here.
If food is your thing, have a look at our food & drink for some inspiration on the places you can visit while you’re here. And once you’re here please come and ask us as we’ll happily tell you about some of our favourite places to eat and drink.
