Grounds and Gardens

Our barns are set within ¾ acre of beautifully landscaped gardens that provide year-round colour. With an abundance of plants, there's always something to catch the eye.  We've even picked daffodils from our garden on Christmas Day. 

For those balmy summer evenings, we have ample garden furniture for all our guests use.  So why not sit outside and relax without feeling overlooked or cramped.  Enjoy a glass of wine as the sun goes down or nibble on some of Cornwall's finest cheeses and contemplate life. 

We also have our own vegetable patch.  In the summer months you're more than welcome to harvest some of our produce for your own table.  Nothing beats freshly dug new potatoes and carrots or hand-picked runner beans, courgettes, strawberries or apples.  All we ask is that you spend 10 minutes or so helping us keep on top of those perennial weeds!

For the comfort of all our guests, smoking is only permitted at the top of our driveway. 

Our two dogs - Barney and Pongo - also like to welcome guests. We do discourage our dogs from visiting our self catering courtyard gardens.  If you are staying in our cottages, plase resist the temptation to feed Barney & Pongo.  They are already well fed! 

If you are not a doggie person, do please let us know and we wll do our utmost to keep them away from you.
