All painting and decorating work is finally finished and the new driveway lights look fabulous – and are more energy efficient. Just time for a quick tidy and a final spruce up, then the carpet cleaner comes on Monday – ready for B&B reopening on Tuesday 28th Feb.
Phew, and people always ask Barbara if she gets bored in the winter – no time for that! Although it’s true to say Barney and Pongo probably get longer walks in the winter.
It’s a glorious day here today, sun shining, dogs lying on the new slate front patio, daffodils nodding on a gentle breeze….
