Traveling to Cornwall

There are many ways in which you can travel to us in Cornwall and we encourage you to be as environmentally friendly as possible. We have a Carbon Offsetting scheme with an organisation called Climate Care and you can calculate how much additional CO2 you will generate by travelling to and around Cornwall.

The majority of our guests use their car to travel to us but if that isn’t for you then here’s a list of the best ways to get here:

Let the train take the strain

If you wanted a relaxing journey and a beautiful coastal view to accompany it then take a train to Truro. Booking in advance will get you the best deal and Hertz are located at the station if you require a hire car for your stay. You can find all you need to know on train times and routes via National Rail

Buses and coaches

Cornwall has a brilliant public transport network and we encourage you to take advantage of it whenever you can. Here are two websites to help you make your plans - First Group Devon and Cornwall and the Cornwall Public Transport Timetable.

Fly

You can fly to Newquay Airport (40 minutes by car from us) from a number of UK airports. These include:

  • London Gatwick
  • London Stansted
  • Bristol
  • East Midlands
  • Manchester
  • Leeds Bradford
  • Newcastle
  • Glasgow
  • Edinburgh
  • Dublin
  • Cork

There are two car hire companies that operate from Newquay Airport - Avis, Hertz and Europcar.
