Tregothnan is preparing to open its usually private gates to give an insight into the workings of the largest historic garden in Cornwall. Open for one weekend only on the 16 and 17 April 2016, visitors can experience Tregothnan’s unequalled diversity of trees, rare collections, sweeping vistas and peaceful secluded groves on the banks of the beautiful river Fal.
Get lost in ancient Camellias, mountainous Magnolias and the biggest Rhododendrons in the world with 40 foot crescendos of full flower. The sheer scale of the garden, over 100 acres, means that there will be plenty of peace.
Tickets need to be purchased in advance, but it’s reasonably straightforward. Simply head for Tregothnan’s website and you’re only a few clicks away from a great day out.
