Strap up your walking boots, grab a picnic and make sure you’ve got your sense of adventure in tow.
St Anthony’s Head is at the very tip of the Roseland Peninsula and a ‘must visit’ during your Roundhouse Barns holiday.
St Anthony Head guards the entrance to Falmouth Harbour and gives you fantastic views over to the Lizard Peninsula. It’s a lovely stroll along the South West Coast Path to get there which can be done from a National Trust Car Park nearby.
Alternatively, head to St Mawes and in the summer you can hop on the Place Ferry and enjoy a walk around the headland. There are two secluded beaches on the way; Great and Little Molunan that are both worth a visit.
Keep your eyes peeled for seabirds of all types – if you’re really lucky you may even catch a glimpse of the Peregrine Falcons who nest in the cliffs.
