Barbara and Mark Sadler welcome you to Roundhouse Barns.  It's the perfect place to relax, unwind, adjust to "Cornish Time" and escape the pace of modern life. 

Our stunningly converted 17th Century Cornish stone barns are set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty tucked away on the west side of the unspoilt Roseland Peninsula.  We are surrounded by National Trust land and rolling fields.  From the top of our winding driveway, there are breathtaking views of the Fal estuary towards Falmouth, Mylor, Loe Beach and Trelissick.  Take time out to watch yachts sail effortlessly along the Fal or simply stand and admire the setting sun. 

Come and share the peace and tranquillity we've discovered.  There's no road noise, no pollution, no children, simply open space, birdsong, fresh air and (hopefully!) blue skies above. Whether there's blue sky or not, Roundhouse Barns is a fantastic place for couples to spend quality time together.

We also live at Roundhouse Barns - so we're on hand to:

  • welcome you with a complimentary home-baked Cornish cream tea;
  • advise on places to visit, sites to see, restaurants to eat in etc.; and
  • enjoy a catch-up and a friendly chat, perhaps over a glass of wine. 

Our aim is to make you feel at home from the moment you arrive.

Silver and gold awards

Our bed and breakfast accommodation was awarded 5 stars by enjoyEngland in September 2009 together with a Silver Award.  Our self catering cottages all have 4 stars and Gold Awards from enjoyEngland.  Our grading and awards recognise exceptional quality of accommodation and service. 

Not only do we have awards for quality, but we're a green business as well.  Under the national Green Tourism Business Scheme we have Silver Awards for our Self Catering cottages and our B&B rooms too.  

To ensure we maintain the peace and tranquillity for all our guests we regret that we are unable to accommodate children under 14 or pets.  Also, our rooms and gardens are all non-smoking.
