We've decided that from May 2009, we will source over 90% of our B&B supplies from following local producers. 

A R Day (Portscatho): Bacon, Sausages, Hogs Pudding, Eggs

Lillie Brothers (Falmouth): Milk, Yogurt, Cornish Butter, Clotted Cream, Organic Bread, Fruit Juices, Eggs

D S Hendy (Helston): Fruit, Vegetables, Mushrooms

Boddington's Berries (Mevagissy): Strawberry Jam, Raspberry Jam, Blackberry Jam, Marmalade

As these providers are delivering to our doorstep, we've decided to encourage our self-catering guests to place their orders through us for their dairy, fruit and vegetable supplies as well.

Commenting on the decision, Mark Sadler said "We're pleased with this move.  As the economy takes a dip, it's important to support local businesses - and we hope we're doing our bit.  We're also reducing "Food Miles" and letting our guests taste some of the best produce that Cornwall has to offer".

In addition to doing business with these these suppliers, we will continue to support and promote local business like Lobbs Farm Shop, Humfrey's Farm Shop, Calenick Butchers and Truro Farmers Market to both our Self-Catering and B&B guests.
