We had already planned to replace the bathrooms in the cottages over the winter of 2010, but have now added to the plans:

By next spring Cockle Cottage will have a bath and separate shower enclosure and The Carthouse and The Dairy will also have shiny new fittings. There is room in them both for a shower over a bath but most of our guests have said they prefer not to have to step into a bath to have a shower and would much prefer larger shower cubicle, so that's what we are planning. We will make sure that each shower has a shelf for your toiletries and a cupboard to store things in.

We will also refurbish all three cottage kitchens. Again having listened to guests comments, we will make sure all three cottages have a dishwasher and the hobs will have extractor fans - not quite sure how we will do that in The Dairy yet as the wall is an internal one, but we will find a way!.

Not to be left out the Bed and Breakfast rooms are also being refurbished in November 2009 - we will move the partition wall in The Fal room to create more room in the bathroom and both rooms will have a makeover.

If you have any suggestions for the new kitchens or bathrooms please let us know - we are still at the design stage so would welcome any ideas.
