Awards and recognition continue to flood in for a Roseland couple's holiday business.

Following extensive refurbishment works over the Winter, husband and wife team Mark & Barbara Sadler who own and run Roundhouse Barn Holidays were rewarded for their efforts last week. Their three self catering cottages were each awarded 5 stars and a Gold Award by enjoyEngland's quality inspectors. These awards follow close on the heels of the 5 stars and Silver Award received for their B&B business in November 2009.

Commenting on the news, Barbara said "We're simply bowled over. We've invested significantly in our business since we acquired it in May 2007 and to get this recognition is great. We're now the only holiday accommodation business on The Roseland that has five stars for both its self catering cottages and its B&B rooms.
Barbara also added "But we're not getting complacent. Whilst our guests now have luxury bathrooms, bedrooms and kitchens, that's only part of what makes a great holiday. It's also about the making sure that we look after our guests as well - the personal touch is so important".

Adding to this, Mark said "The local trades have been fabulous. Redruth-based Concept Bathrooms has transformed our accommodation, installing luxury bathrooms and kitchens and fitting travertine and slate tiles and granite worktops. Davanna Heating, based in Threemilestone also worked miracles; designing and installing a new bespoke energy efficient central heating and hot water system, using the latest wireless and solar technology".
