How time flies when you're up against a deadline.  With guests checking into The Carthouse on 13 February, we needed to make sure we hit every deadline on our refurbishment plan. 

It was getting a bit tight, time-wise, but with the satellite installer finishing at 9:15am on 13th Feb, we both breathed a huge sigh of relief! 

We were keen to retain the cosy cottage like charm and hope we've achieved that.  There's new solid oak flooring in the lounge, hallway and bedroom, together with new bedroom and lounge furniture.  All soft furnishings have also been replaced together with a new 32" flat sceen TV, DVD, slate hearth and fire.

Commenting on the completed work, Barbara said "We're very pleased with the way things have shaped up.  I particularly like the bedroom.  It has a much more cosy and intimate feel.  We hope our guests think so as well!"
