It's lovely and quiet in Cornwall in the early part of the year, the camellias and magnolias will be flowering and it's a great time to visit any of the Cornish gardens.
Most of the "adult" attractions are open all year, including the Eden Project, The Lost Gardens of Heligan and Trelissick gardens.
Also open all year is The Tate St Ives and the Barbara Hepworth Museum, along with Geevor Tin Mine and The China Clay Museum at St Austell.
Lots of lovely coastal and woodland walks and cosy pubs to visit as well.
For foodies - Jamie Oliver's Fifteen at Watergate Bay is only a 40 minute drive away as are Rick Stein's many restaurants in Padstow - and it's a whole heap easier to get a table at this time of year!
Closer to home The Driftwood with its shiny new Michelin Star re-opens on the 3rd Feb and it's only a a five minute drive away....
From our guests...
“The beautiful house and surroundings are just the start. Barbara and Mark's hospitality and warmth put the icing on the cake. Thank you so much.”
